Mahan was born in Iran, but escaped from Iran to Sweden with her family when she was only nine. She has always been surrounded by music because her father and aunt are persian singers and has an audience in Iran aswell as in Sweden. She was in a contest named POPSTARS in Sweden year 2001, and there she met the girls in the future girlband named Adorus. BONNIER MUSIC was the label that Adorus was signed with and EMA Telstar (Live Nation ) as their booking management. They were the opening act for Westlife In Globen in Stockholm, Spektrum in Norway and Forum in Denmark, 37.000 people saw their performence. And they also had a tour in Sweden in 2003. Later the group broke up, but Mahan continued with her music with different producers. One of them was Fredrik Rinman, who is signed with Murlyn Music.
