The Summer State - I Do, I Don't

The Summer State is a pop/rock band from Singapore. The name, derived from the term ‘summer state of mind’, exemplifies the band’s optimism and positive outlook. The band believes in writing music that is honest and timeless. In 2011, The Summer State was handpicked by Dave Tan of Electrico as his apprentice under The Apprenticeship Programme (TAP) initiated by National Arts Council (NAC) and Noise Singapore. The Summer State’s first single “Hush, We’re Taking Over” is available on all their websites, the music video for “Hush, We’re Taking Over” is also featured on Blank TV’s (USA) Youtube channel. The Summer State’s self-titled debut EP was released on 23rd February 2013.
