Myriam Shehab, born in South Lebanon in February, 9, 1982, popularly known as Melissa, started her singing career in 2005, with the release of her first song Leil Ya Leil. She rose to fame with the release of her first album Baddi Minnak, followed by her scond album Mfakar Halak Min and hit singles singles such as Halafnalak, Yalli Naseeni, Tell Me What You Want (Gharamak) and Somebody Call My Name (Habibi). She also released several music video clips including Leil Ya Leil, Kam Sana, Habibi, Halafnalak, Mfakar Halak Min, Ta'lali Awam,Garahtak Meli.ssa gained popularity internationally after her collaboration with international R&B and Hip-Hop artists like Akon and Dr. Alban. She has participated in numerous festivals and concerts in Lebanon and worldwide.
